Raja and I saw the following during the Christmas break:

Round Hill, 27/12:

Malleefowl 1 (crossed Murrin Bridge Rd, 9.9 km SE of the T-junction
with Euabalong-Mt Hope Rd at 8:15 pm)
Painted Button-quail 1, Nombinnie track
Chestnut Quail-thrush 2, Nombinnie track
Gilbert's Whistler 2, Nombinnie track
Several Southern Scrub-robins, Shy Heathwrens, Gould's Monitors and
Bell's Lace Monitor, but no Red-lored Whistler this time.
 
Whoey Tank, 27/12:
Australian Owlet Nightjar 1
Eastern Barn Owl 1
Spotted Bowerbird 3
Orange Chat 2
Plus the usual honeyeaters, Blue Bonnets,
Mallee Ringnecks, Pallid Cuckoos, White-browed and Masked Woodswallows 
(including
one White-browed x Masked hybrid) and many feral goats and honey bees
 
Lake Cargelligo STP, 27/12:
Little Egret: 1
Glossy Ibis: 4
Baillon’s Crake: 2
Australian Spotted Crake: 3
Spotless Crake: 1
Cockatiel: 1 male
 
Gum Swamp, Forbes, 28/12:
Freckled Duck: 27
Blue-billed Duck: 1
Little Egret: 1
Glossy Ibis: 1
Yellow-billed Spoonbill: 8
Cockatiel: 1 male
 
Back Yamma SF, 29/12:
150 White-throated Needletail (together with
White-browed and Masked Woodswallows), two swiftly fly-by Neophema spec.
(likely Turquoise Parrot)
 
Orange, 29/12:
Black Falcon: 1
 
Capertee/Genowlan Bridge, 30/12:
White-backed Swallow 1
Painted Honeyeater 4+
 
Capertee/Wollemi section behind Oskas Cottage,
31/12:
White-throated
Nightjar 2
Brush
Cuckoo several
Cicadabird
2
Satin
Flycatcher 1 pair
Leaden
Flycatcher 2 pairs
 
Capertee/Glen Davis, 31/12:
Buff-banded Rail
Australian Koel
 
Capertee/Crown Station, 01/01:
