Hi John and John,
Recently drove the Weilangta Forest Rd with no problems, with one swift parrot
record at the southern end.
We stayed at Marion Bay and had Swifts at Bruny Island, as you say,(in the
north and the south), but also at the Tessalated Pavement (Tasman Peninsular),
I heard one at Port Arthur, there were swift parrots at Tasman National Park
east of Murdunna and at the intersection of Blowhole Road and Tasman Arch Rd.
Each time the birds were associated with Tasmanian Blue Gum blossom.
Hope this is of some help.
