Dear birdersI am fairly frequently in Barrington Tops, and have never heard or seen a Peacock/peahen there. It is possible that some nearby landowners have peafowls which may escape - the Packers' place is not far from the northern boundary - just the sort of fowl they might have????? and the high fences all round wouldn't keep them in unless their wings were clipped. Happy New Year to all Hi Russ, There is the Dilgry Circle on the Barrington plateau - but as far as I know no-one in our neck of the woods has heard of Peafowl flocks up there. All very interesting though.... Allan Richardson Morisset NSW On 26/12/2012, at 7:06 PM, Russ Lamb wrote:Carl, Methinks thou meanest Sherwood Forest, nay Barrington Tops. Russ Lamb |
