Indian Peafowl Barrington Tops SF, NSW

Dear birders

I am fairly frequently in Barrington Tops, and have never heard or seen 
a Peacock/peahen there.  It is possible that some nearby landowners have 
peafowls which may escape - the Packers' place is not far from the 
northern boundary - just the sort of fowl they might have????? and the 
high fences all round wouldn't keep them in unless their wings were clipped.
