Thanks to all those who replied. I believe that the examples we recorded on a number of days was a cooling off strategy as it always occurred during the hottest part of the day. I've put together a short sequence of consecutive clips from the camera. It covers a period of about 4 minutes reduced to about 50 seconds so it's a bit jerky at the break between each 10 second clip. And of course the positioning of the camera is not optimal. Anyway it should give some idea of their activities. The movie is on the VNPA facebook page and can be viewed at http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=vb.121782438413 <http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=vb.121782438413&type=2> &type=2 Euan =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
