Sun 16 Dec Buff-breasted Sandpiper Price Saltfields, South Australia
Colin Rogers located a single Buff-breasted Sandpiper at Price Saltfields on Saturday 15/12. Relocated again and photographed well this morning. The bird was actually seen and photographed displaying to nearby Sharp-tailed Sandpipers

1 dark phase bird 30 mins out of port

Sun 9 Dec Eastern Yellow Wagtail Alva, Queensland
Eastern Yellow Wagtail (2) Seen in grassy area fringing reed beds & water. First seen at 1700 on 8/12 and confirmed today between 1600-1700 with extensive views along with John & Chris Stewart. We observed with telescopes from road verge at distance of approx 70 metres. Note these wetlands are on private property.

Sat 8 Dec Freckled Duck Mulwala Road Wetland, Barooga, New South Wales
Freckled Duck (79) terrific numbers. The most I have ever seen of this species at one site. All birds were at the north end of the wetland in four groups, two groups were in the water, one group was resting on the bank and the other on some logs.

11 on dam on "For Sale" block opposite Bowman Rd. Easily seen from road. (Moderator Note: Please view from road and don't trespass on private property. There have been problems with neighbours previously).
