If you log into Eremaea, you can select species for which you want to receive alerts. Whenever someone enters those species into a *survey*, you get an email. It doesn't work for Birdline entries though, which is a pity, given that it runs on the same system. I wonder if it would be possible to create one's own alerts from the RSS feeds.
