G'day Peter, et al.
We visited a couple of years ago from Tassie, and all four in the family did
the induction online just before going. The lady at the Water Authority
couldn't have been more helpful, and most of it was tee-d up for us by a local
Darwin Birder, Peter Kyne. I'm pretty sure his email could be found by doing a
search of the Birding-Aus archives, and if he's still around, I'm sure he'd be
happy to help out.
People who have not done the induction are not able to get access to the ponds,
even with an inducted birder, but once you've done the induction process, paid
the deposit, and collected the tag, then it's simply a matter of phoning in to
register each visit.
Good luck with it.
