With most of a VERY windy day spent unsuccessfully searching for the Broad-billed Sandpiper, we did locate the Cape Barren Geese (8) at the 'back' of Western Lagoon. We also had the earlier-reported Grey Plover on the Spit, and 4 or 5 Pectoral Sandpipers weeding amongst the sedge and saltbush in the swampy area of The Spit reserve, just beyond the gate to Spit Road.
