Asian Dowitcher Port of Brisbane Artificial Roost
One bird (again) at the Port of Brisbane - on the island (in front of the hide next to the car park). V distant photo of the bird flying off at 3.30 to go back out to Morton Bay following high tide.

3 Sooty Terns, a single Tahiti Petrel and large number of Short-tailed Shearwaters

1 bird at the high tide roost with Godwits, great knot etc

Thu 29 Nov Pale-vented Bush-hen Buckley's Hole, Bribie Island
A pair showed very well today and yesterday, with a third bird seen distantly. Spotless Crake, Lewin's Rail and Buff-banded Rail also recorded

Wed 28 Nov Australian Painted Snipe Dowse Lagoon, Sandgate
Australian Painted Snipe (1) Male,still there, across on the opposite bank from the viewing platform on Southerden Street. Also Spotless Crake, Red-kneed Dotterel, Latham's Snipe (4) and Glossy Ibis (3).

Flock of 10 flew by calling this afternoon. Unusual in Brisbane during summer.

Male Australian Painted Snipe this morning, also 6 Latham's Snipe, 80+ Whiskered Terns, 150 White-throated Needletails (swooping low and drinking), 1 Glossy Ibis etc.

Mon 26 Nov Lewin's Rail, Pale-vented Bush-hen, Spotless and Baillon's Crakes. Minnippi Parklands (Wetland)
Excellent look at a Lewin's Rail this morning on a bank for 10 mins this morning, also a great look at a Pale-vented Bush-hen and Baillon's Crakes (2). Spotless Crake also showing. 2-3 Comb-crested Jacana.
