Tue 13 Nov Asian Brown Flycatcher West Island, Cocos-Keeling Islands

Mon 12 Nov Little Kingfisher Pine Creek Water Gardens, Northern Territory
This Little Kingfisher has been present at the Water gardens of Pine Creek for at least 2 months. Initially reported by Peter Eve and later observed by Myself and Chris Watson. Always seen in pond 3. Observation reported to Australian Birdline to reinforce earlier observations of Little Kingfisher in the Katherine Region (well inland and away from wetlands or tidal river, normally recognised as usual habitat). Some observations previously given were apparently not acknowledged. This bird is the 3rd time I have observed Little Kingfisher in this region, which I believe is outside of or at the boundary of the range.

Fairy Pitta Winifred Beach Track, Christmas Island
Lisa Preston has reported that Braydon Moloney with the Parks service on CI video-filmed a Fairy Pitta on the track from a moving vehicle. The attached photo is extracted from the video.
