I just thought I would take the opportunity to let people know that the Franklin's Gull was showing nicely today. It was observed by myself and others, from around 12.15 until 1.45, except for a period of about 10 minutes during a heavy downpour of rain. it was worth waiting for the sun to shine to really appreciate this bird :-) At last I can add it to my list!!!!
