Hi List,My father forwarded this link to me showing a photograph of "target" like markings on the inside of the mouth of a baby Crested Coua [a cuckoo native to Madagascar]. Apparently these marks are unique & temporary. Do other baby birds have marks like these? http://tywkiwdbi.blogspot.com.au/2012/10/inside-beak-of-baby-bird.html From Jenny Stiles =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
