Staying at Leura on a non birding holiday, but sneaking off for birding from time to time :-) Yesterday I walked to one of the lookouts south of Leura and was amazed to see 500+ dusky wss hawking along the cliff line (scanned carefully for other spp) Today in the mist I did a similar walk and heard the noise of wss above in the mist, however looking at a few that popped out below the clouds iamcertain they were masked and white-browed Does this happen in the blue mountains (flocks of different wss spp on different days at this time of year?)
