North Queensland accommodation vacancies

G'day all

I'm currently having a holiday in north Qld and all the b&bs etc were heavily 
booked out for the solar eclipse in mid November. The place I'm currently 
staying at has just has all their eclipse bookings cancelled and have heard the 
same from other lodges etc. 

Apparently USA tour companies double book and then cancel when they can't fill 
their books.

If anyone has tried without success to book into some of the famous 
birding-friendly accommodation in the Atherton Tablelands/Cairns/Daintree areas 
for mid-November I suggest you try again.

The eclipse is likely to be spectacular as well.
