Hello Folks, The bird in the following link was observed on the 7-08-2012 on the NSW far south coast. At the time I filed it as a Pied Oystercatcher with an unusually white under-wing. However, after reviewing pictures on the net I've had my doubts resurface. The bird was distinct enough in the field that it may be pause on it for a while, however, the jizz wasn't different enough from traditional Pied and it was displaying with Pieds so I left it at that: http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=240898 Thanks in advance, D. =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
