Hi All,
I think Andrea is referring to separate possums here. The Common Brushtail,
is generally not a prey species for the Powerful Owl unless it is possibly
a juvenile, where the Common Ringtail Possum is. Brushies need hollows but
Ringtails construct dreys to sleep in but will use hollows at times if
available. I am also not sure of the cause and effect that she is referring
to.

Give the DSE a ring Bill and see what they suggest.
