Here is an excerpt from a letter I received from my local member (Mr Carl
Judge) written in response to a letter I wrote expressing my concern over the
Qld Govt decision to degazette existing national parks and allow commercial
activity within national parks, and to do this without appropriate consultation
of conservation experts.

"The Government is primarily concentrating on delivering a key LNP election
promise of opening up the state's National Parks for recreational use and
eco-tourism opportunities. In particular the Minister for National Parks,
Recreation, Sport and Racing, Steve Dickson, is immediately focused on a
proposal to open fire trails and management roads in the majority of Queensland
National Parks to horse-riding and mountain biking."

I can't imagine they'll object to photography.
