Tree identification please

G'day Richard et al.

Here's a picture of the two trees:

They are real and not 'vine-covered poles' (thanks Tom!).

As I said - very common street trees in Dar es Salaam and other Tanzanian 
towns.  No-one there could give me a name for them.
