Hi all. I work at the Parliament in Melbourne. I was just arriving at work on my bike when something went over my head. I thought it was a bat at first, but turned to see it moving away, and realised it was a bird. Following it, I found that it wasn't a Frogmouth but a Boobook. It landed in a medium sized dense tree between buildings in the parliamentary precinct and climbed up into the denser foliage. This was just about sunrise, so I'm hoping it might roost the day there.
