In addition to the information I sent you yesterday, there is a great website
for California maintained by Joe Morlan. It has an odd URL so just google his
name. It has a map of all of the counties, and when you click on a county you
get all sorts of useful information and links.
Also, another hummer you might expect in Southern California is the
Black-chinned.
