Eric, I know you are more interested in sightings of Beautiful Firetails from western Sydney but I have noted a huge spike in the number of BFT's in the Blue Mountains this year. I normally record three or four sightings a year (mainly in the mid mountains where I live) but this year already I have recorded Beautiful Firetails on 15 occasions (5 of those were on consecutive days at the same location). I suspect they have had a couple of good breeding years. Cheers, Mark Ley. =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
