Sat 26 May Spotted Harrier Eynesbury Forest and Grasslands
Spotted Harrier (1) Adult seen from the display homes heading east.

Small group frequently feeding in flowering eucalypts for the last week on Drysdale Rd.

Wed 23 May Little Eagle Over Eastlink adjacent to Eastern Treatment Plant, Bangholme

Tue 22 May Little Corella Sladen & Cameron Streets, Cranbourne
Over 500 feeding with a few Long Billed and Galahs, on a grassy roundabout on a busy main road and flying to and from a nearby pine tree .

Sun 20 May Pink Robin Mitchell St Hawkesdale
Single Pink Robin (brown form) has been hanging around in the two-year-old revegetation area for two weeks. Very inquisitive and enjoys the vege garden too. First one I have seen here in 16 years! Also regular annual visit from the Golden Whistler.

Grey Goshawk (white morph) Mt Evelyn Pony Club (Bailey Road)
Sitting in a low tree on far side of paddock. Flew toward old railway.

White-fronted Honeyeater Kooyoora State Park (Wehla Block)
A single bird seen in flowering White Box near junction of Grassy Flat Track and White Box Track. A rare bird in general but very unusual in non-mallee habitat.

Thu 17 May Banded Stilt Avalon Beach
270 stilts feeding across the large pond "behind" the beach shacks, easliy observed from public road. Also 2 Black-winged Stilts in vicinity. In restricted area of saltworks: 2 Spotted Harriers, Swamp Harrier a majestic adult White-bellied Sea-Eagle and 15 Blue-winged Parrots. Also a light morph Little Eagle and a Whistling Kite.
