Emily Gap, east of Alice Springs
Two Painted Finches came into drink in the waterhole at Emily Gap at about 8.30 am

Tanami Track
Grey Honeyeaters still present in the area previously reported on the Tanami Track. We found one a bit short of 50km along the track.

Princess Parrot
Newhaven Reserve
Princess Parrot (20) - At least 20 birds seen in the early morning, with largest flock of 12 birds and other separate flocks of 3 and 4 birds. Birds moved away after sunrise. Two birds seen later on in morning fairly close to where we were standing.

Kakadu NP Nourlangi rock.
A pair of birds sighted on hilltop walk. Birds were very quiet and rather tame.

Nourlangi rock, Kakadu NP
Sited at the base of the escarpment on the Barrk walk. In view for about a min, with the bird just going about his business without stress or bother.

Black-banded Friut-Dove
Nourlangi Rock, Kakadu NP
Single bird sighted along the Barrk walk in the raiforest gully at the begining of the walk. Bird sat still for about a min before flying across the vally into a dense fig tree.
