Hi all,
Thanks for all the responses!
Regarding the Cane Toad / Ornate Frog, when I saw it my first thought
was Cane Toad and I was going to (ahem) extirpate it. However, it was
less than 2 cm in length, which I thought was rather on the small
side, so the critter wasn't reduced to jam. I got a second opinion
later and Ornate Frog was what was settled on, but I'm happy to pull
that page.
I've removed the link from the frogs page, but here's the page itself
for reference/chance to laugh at a mis-ID...
Cheers!

Tony, you could also try asking in the Identification forum at
http://frogs.org.au/community/ if you don't get all the answers here.

Subject: [Birding-Aus] Frogs
Hi all,
I don't normally spam my website on here unless there's something useful
to the mailing list, but I was wondering if anyone with any experience
with frogs in Australia would mind casting an eye over this lot to see
if I've made any howling errors:
http://www.tonykeenebirds.co.uk/afrogs.html
There's not too much detail on a lot of species available out there and
a fair portion of what there is isn't too well referenced.
I know it's a birding list, but there are some people on here with quite
a lot of frog knowledge.
Any corrections and suggestions welcome!
I think with the exception of two photos in that section, all the
photos were made using Ed Williams' spotlight - cheers for that, Ed!
All the best and thanks,
Tony
