Short-tailed Grasswren, Elegant Parrot
Stokes Hill Lookout, Flinders Ranges NP
Short-tailed Grasswren: four seen, two very close to the lookout and two south of lookout. More heard. Very quiet and shy. Several Elegant Parrots also seen.

Mt Ive Station
Short-tailed Grasswren (pedleri) (4) seen on Mt Ive Station. Ground Cuckoo-shrikes (5) on the way into Mt Ive also.

Western Grasswren (Myall), Slender-billed thornbill, Redthroat
Whyalla Conservation Park and Whyalla/iron Knob Rd
Five Western Grasswrens in two separate groups and one group of Slender-bIlled Thornbill around Wild Dog Hill in Whyalla CP. Along the Whyalla/Iron Knob Road another two Western Grasswren and six or more Redthroats.

Malleefowl, Rock Parrot, Western Whipbird
Innes National Park, Yorke Peninsula
1 Malleefowl near Lake Inneston, 2 Rock Parrots and 1 Rufous Fieldwren on the cliffs above Stenhouse bay; 1 Mallee Whipbird at Ranger station and numerous Purple-gaped Honeyeaters. Also of note on Yorke Peninsula were Slender-billed thornbills at Clinton CP, 40 Banded Stilts, 1 Red-neck Avocet and 1 Cape Barren Goose near Yorktown in small pond.

Black Falcon
Pinnaroo, nr. Golden Grain Hotel
A pair of Black Falcons were harassing galahs, starlings, feral pigeons and red-rumped parrots that had been feeding on the ground near some grain storage areas. At one stage one Black Falcon was perched on the TV antennae of the hotel and the other perched on the top of a radiata pine adjacent to the hotel. In time they moved on, seemingly without actually catching any bird.
