I've put together some photographs and notes on the status and distribution of Lewin's Rail around the Sunshine Coast: http://sunshinecoastbirds.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/lewins-rail-around-sunshin e-coast.html. In a nutshell, this cryptic species has been found to be much more numerous in various habitats than expected.
