Sun 4 Mar Oriental Cuckoo Rush Creek Rd, Dayboro
At least 2 Oriental Cuckoos were still present at the water-board gate (chain?) on Rush Creek Rd near Dayboro (SEQ) this morning, unfortunately light was poor so couldn't see the second well enough to determine if it was an 'hepatic' bird. (Coords -27.216291, 152.872612)

Sat 3 Mar Oriental Cuckoo Dayboro - Rush Creek Road
"Normal" coloured bird flew over junction with Dayboro Road early am into gully other side of Dayboro Road. Could not be relocated.

Group of 20 adults foraging in paddocks on private property. Well outside their normal range.

Three early returns. Also two Grey Plovers here

Very unusual in this location and habitat, but stuck out like a sore thumb next to nearby Grey-tailed Tattlers. Larger size, much darker appearance especially on chest, white lores and eye-ring but no white supercilium

3 scrub-birds seen and 2 others heard, 1 Noisy Pitta seen and another heard, 5 lyrebirds seen with 4 in one group

4 x Lesser Frigatebirds holding on the wind above the dunes just south of Angnes waters. Blown in by the Queensland storms.

7 x on private dam near and visible from the road into the maroochy Wetlands
