Hi all, A recent Canadian client of mine on a birding trip through Oz and NZ just emailed me to say he has seen and photographed a number of (possible) Great Shearwaters from the Cook Strait ferry, NZ on 11 Feb around 9:40am. Photos available on request. You'll all recall last year's Great Shearwater 'invasion' in Oz waters in March/April. Perhaps it's about to happen again? cheers Peter ---- Peter Waanders Southern Birding Services PO Box 420, Waikerie SA 5330 Australia mob.: +61 (0)409 763172 sat.: +61 (0)424 212889 Email1: <>Email2: SA Birding: www.sabirding.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Southern-Birding-Services/134270499971996 =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
