Sun 26 Feb Oriental Cuckoo Rush Creek Road near Dayboro
One 'normal' coloured bird showing very well and one 'hepatic-coloured' female near the water-board gate. (coords -27.216384, 152.872618) Another bird seen fleetingly near Postman's Track gate, Kobble Creek. (coords -27.25413, 152.857630)

Wedge-tailed Eagle Burpengary: 118 High Rd
Wedge-tailed Eagle (1) Second time in 9 years that this speice has been sighted over our property. Soaring over cattle for 10 minutes. Every Ibis, White-faced Heron + Cattle Egret took to the air. Our smaller birds all fled to the cover of trees. Amazing to watch and the eagle was not much more than tree height.

Little Corella Yulunga Place, Mooloolaba
A large flock tried to roost in She Oaks but were driven away by the local inhabitants. Settled over the road in a large gum in O'connor Park, Mooloolaba. Not seen here before.

Fri 24 Feb Channel-billed Cuckoo Burpengary: 118 High Rd
Channel-billed Cuckoo (1) 6:10am. 1 CBC in our Lemon Scented Gum. Being harrassed by Pied Butcherbirds, Magpies + Noisy Miners. Lots of 'bill clapping' by CBC. Survied 5 minutes of 'pestering' then took flight.
