Australian Bustard with chick Angas Downs Indigenous Protected Area
Australian Bustard with chick seen on Angas Downs. Since fires on the property in September-October 2011, bustards have been seen often on fringes of singed and non-singed spinifex dunes. Interesting that they have nested in the recently burnt landscape. Photo attached is of one close by this sighting but in November 2011 after the fires.
