Dear all,

There have been several questions regarding the Victorian Waterfowl Identification Test-WIT on the list. Here are some extracts from the DPI web site. The WIT "consists of 22 multiple-choice questions. The test is viewed on a TV screen and the exact procedure is explained by an example prior to the actual test. A species of waterfowl is viewed for approximately five seconds and hunters have more than 20 seconds to mark the answer squares and prepare for the next question".

To pass the test "A score of 75% or above constitutes a pass, provided that the applicant also identifies at least one of the Freckled Duck sequences correctly." Also "People who pass the test receive a Certificate of Proficiency and those who obtain a “AA” pass also receive a merit badge."
