Happy New Year! (Sorry for cross postings). So we are at the finals at the bird world cup. Surprisingly the Spoon-billed Sandpiper did not make the finals. Marvelous Spatuletail takes on Philippine Eagle. In order for votes to count one must also vote in the game for third place: Spoon-billed Sandpiper vs Harpy Eagle. This is a game for birders. Saturday at midnight Peruvian time (-5H GMT) the winner will be announced. Have fun! Gunnar -- Gunnar Engblom-Lima, Peru.
