Today I saw Black-breasted Buttonquail (a total of 8 birds), Superb Fruit-Dove and Barred Cuckoo-shrike in lowland rainforest patches in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. All three species are scarce and difficult to find in southeast Queensland so it's nice to know they are about.
