The Great Crested Grebes were on Lake Clarendon, not Lake Manchester, sorry. It's interesting that there is clearly a big exodus of waterbirds from the inland hitting coastal and near-coastal areas. These numbers of Banded Lapwing and Great Crested Grebe are highly unusual in southeast Queensland. Solid numbers of Red-kneed Dotterel are a further indication of what's going on.
