Hi Geoff,

I agree with Greg regarding eyebrow ridge, tail shape (of the adult) and the 
relatively powerful legs/feet in both the adult and the juv. In addition, the 
juv also shows a rather large squarish head and a strong bill, which again 
indicates Brown Goshawk.

Hi Jeff,

The eyebrow ridge, the long tail and the solid legs are typical of Brown 
Goshawk.  The tail is in moult and therefore shows a somewhat squared 
appearance but is still too rounded for a Sparrowhawk.
