Hi Jeff,The eyebrow ridge, the long tail and the solid legs are typical of Brown Goshawk. The tail is in moult and therefore shows a somewhat squared appearance but is still too rounded for a Sparrowhawk. Greg Dr Greg. P. Clancy Ecologist and Wildlife Guide Coutts Crossing NSW |
