Crested Shriketit at Running Creek

I was surprised yesterday to see a crested shriketit on our Running Creek 
property 17.7km se from Rathdowney. It was in a eucalypt at the edge of dry 
rainforest near our boundary with Mt Chinghee. I think it's only the second 
time in 30 years that I've seen them here, although I have also twice seen them 
just a little way into the rainforest (which also surprised me) at O'Reilly's a 
few years ago
