Another great day birding on the Sunshine Coast yesterday with records
including: Black-breasted Buttonquail (a female showing magnificently near
Imbil), Shining Flycatcher (a female in the mangroves on the Noosa River),
Baillon's Crake (1 at Cooroy), Cotton Pygmy-Goose (5 at Eumundi), King Quail
(2 near Noosa), Little Grassbird (2 at Cooroy), White-eared Monarch (Little
Yabba Creek & Yandina), Rose-crowned Fruit-Dove (late this year, but plenty
about now).
