Hi All Around 5pm this afternoon, I HEARD, what sounded like, a Channel-billed Cuckoo 5k?s north of Axedale. It called once and although I listened for over ½ hour, it didn?t call again. Would any members have records of this species in the Bendigo/Heathcote area please. I believe there are reports from Euroa in November (thanks Jen) but that?s all the info I have at present. I cannot think of any other bird that might sound like a C-bC, so although I?m confident of the call, I would?ve liked to have heard it again before reporting it on Birdline. Thanks and happy birding Marlene. =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
