Hello all. Last month I drove from Broome to Cairns for a spot of birding and have now produced a multi part trip report with photographs on Wildiaries at http://aussiebirding.wildiaries.com/trips/10805 The highlights for me were: Broad-billed Sandpiper at Cairns, Red-Chested Buttonquail near Mt Isa; and getting some shots of Purple-crowned Fairywren and Kalkadoon Grasswren. Lowlights were missing out on Gouldian Finch and seeing mile after mile of burnt countryside. Cheers Steve Murray =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
