The pair of snipes were in the pond opposite the golf course on Pitt Town Bottoms Rd. When travelling north towards Pitt Town Lagoon, take the left turn just before the golf course (this is Pitt Town Bottoms Rd). Follow this for about 500m, and on your left there will be a large pond. The snipes were at the far (north) end of this pond. Also present were 2 Wood Sandpiper, Red-kneed Dotterels, Latham's Snipe and many Sharp-tailed Sandpipers. Just a note, we went to the site at Powell's Lane this morning too, but despite a long search, we found no snipes.
