Green-headed Yellow Wagtail
Palmerston Sewage Ponds, Northern Territory
Probable Green-headed Yellow Wagtail (M. taivana) at Palmerston Poo Ponds this morning. Happy for the ID to be discussed; the supercilium seems quite narrow. Also present were two M. tschutschensis, all 3 Wags being seen close to the 2nd and 3rd ponds to the right from the building. Also good numbers of White-winged Black Terns (and some Whiskered), a group of about a dozen Red-necked Stint, 4 Sharpies and a few Pacific Golden Plovers (as well as 100+ Common Sands scattered throughout).
