Sunday 2nd October, about 11.30 a.m. (DST) - a female Aust. Shelduck
perched on a post in Banyule Swamp - apparently resting.
It's a very long time since I last saw one hereabouts - they used to
come occcasionally back in the 1980s when the Billabong surroundings
were grazed by cattle.
