Hi all,
Woodswallows arrived today in north-east Victoria as well.
A smallish flock of about 40 White-browed and 5 Masked Woodswallow
around Wilby, just south of the Murray River near Yarrawonga.
Weather was warm with strong notherly winds.
This has been the usual situation over the last few years, birds
tend to arrive on the first warm days of spring. Last year however
White-browed and Masked woodswallows were absent in NE Victoria, and acorss the
state as a whole, perhaps with all the rain inland there was no need to move
south.
