To Graham's question, No doubt related to a combination of all of those things acting together (or in sequence). There have been many reports of Barn Owls in Canberra in the last few weeks also. Is this because of all the rains inland, prey explosion, subsequent multiple nesting by Barn Owls and now the irruption of young birds?
