G'dayFor those interested in inner-city birds, I came across the carcass of a Barn Owl on the footpath of Upper Albert St, close to the lower entrance to the Roma St Parklands. It was about 100 metres from the CBD precinct and was probably hit by a car (and placed on the footpath at the base of a tree). Perhaps it was a young bird that made the mistake of chasing a rodent too close to the road. Regards, Laurie. =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
