Sat 3 Sep Chatham Albatross (race 'eremita' of Shy Albatross) pelagic trip off Eaglehawk Neck, Tasmania
This morning an adult Chatham Albatross was seen well by those on-board today's pelagic double-header off Eaglehawk Neck. There are still 2 places available for tomorrow's trip - if anyone is interested in doing the trip tomorrow, please call Dan Mantle urgently on 0413 554 500 to book your spot.

Swift Parrot "Otto's Grotto" - Park in Ulverstone
At least 20 individuals - difficult to count, with birds constantly flying between trees. In mature Blue Gum trees between Warf ares/Sailing Club/Otto's Grotto (Bicentennial Park). Good flowering of Blue Gums seems to have resulted in good numbers, early in the season. Some birds being chased from food source by Little Wattlebirds, and Rainbow Lorikeets.
John Tongue, Hazel Britton.

Birdline Tasmania is sponsored by Eremaea Birds and co-ordinated and hosted by Eremaea Birds.
