Hi All Today I heard of the very sad news of the passing of Bill Wakefield on the 28th July. I met Bill a number of years ago on one of the many Eaglehawk Neck pelagic trips that we had the pleasure of sharing. Bill had a wonderful knowledge which he would willingly share with all on the boat. Many people, myself included, have learned a great deal about pelagic birds thanks to Bill. My thoughts are with Els and I looked forward to our next pelagic trip together.
