Hi Peter. The Hunters were generally old people as the younger ones in recent years would go and work in the cities. So a lot of the people that were hunting in the 80's and 90's are either too old for that kind of work or have passed away. Catching birds traditionally was tough, bad living conditions and not knowing how much money you would make each day and very long hours plus the work ran for only a few months per year. I am still in touch with one of the hunters and he is very happy. He really loves his job and receives regular money. Its a win win really.
