Hi all,

Just wondering if anybody out there has any records of Striated Pardalote, race
substriatus (red tip, broad white wing-stripe) from around the Melbourne area.
There is one presently at Newport Lakes Park in Melbourne's west, which is the
first I've recorded anywhere in Melbourne. I generally see them up around
Bendigo & Heathcote but around here it's all ornatus & striatus.

Anyway, just not sure if this is unusual or not and/or whether this subspecies
goes unreported in these parts. I know the little buggers can be hard to get a
decent look at way up there in them trees.

Thanks.
